This course will mainly focus on the work of sound, variations and musicality. By learning a few new songs but above all by working on your own repertoire, this course will allow you to learn new techniques and develop your own game.
I will try to give each participant individual challenges. The course will last several days, we will also work on the ensemble game, based on the song of the day.
And for the rest we will have fun working with a lot of pleasure and passion!

Singing
August 16 to 20

PROGRAM
Most of a day will take place in the morning 4 hours. The afternoon will be a time of pause (walks, naps ....) then another session of 2h around 5h to leave the evenings to be shared differently.
​
For all levels, this internship aims to share a method developed by Christian for several years with the students of the CFMI Intervening Musicians Training Center in Poitiers.
This method consists of encouraging the performer in the discovery of his own voice through multiple games that will allow him to develop his own song. This work will be based on the repertoire of traditional songs from Poitevins which carry within them all the forms conducive to variety (songs to answer, complaints, lullabies ...).

Accordion

This course will be an opportunity to focus on touch, phrasing and nuances. Based on a few pieces received in advance and others learned on the spot, we will reflect together on how to convey to the audience a better understanding and feeling of melody, harmony and rhythm.

Violin
August 9 to 13
Level: minimum 2 years of violin practice

PROGRAM
From 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm except Wednesday afternoon, rest!

This course will be structured in three distinct parts:
A collective part in the morning: learning repertoire, phrasing work, music / dance link ...
2 hours a day
Part of targeted group lessons in the afternoon: the trainees will group together by themes defined by the trainees themselves at the start of the training course (whether they are of a technical nature such as accuracy, rhythm, holding of the instrument and bow, harmony, music theory… Or others: professionalization, development of musical projects, structuring…)
2 hours a day
A time will be taken individually in the late morning and late afternoon to go around more personal issues (technical or other), the duration of which will depend on the number of trainees.

Diatonic accordion

Level: initiated (minimum 2 to 3 years of practice)
To bring: diatonic accordion 2 rows 8 bass and more, paper, pen, recording equipment (video authorized)

During this week of training, we will take the time to work on some of my compositions and to see together all the possible elements of interpretation around these themes. This will be the opportunity to discover several technical aspects around the right hand, the accompaniment, the work of the rhythm or the harmony. In short, enough to do a lot of things together!
